Glock 22 Gen 5 Review (Another 40 S&W Glock Gen 5 Review)
Welcome to Firearms of America! Today, I have another Glock review for you guys and this is Glock 22 review!
As usual, let’s start with this Glock 22 specs:
Caliber: .40 S&W
Weight (without magazine): 732 g | 25.82 oz
Mag. Capacity: Standard: 15 | Optional: 16 / 22
Barrel Length: 114 mm | 4.49 inch
Trigger Pull: 26 N
Length (Overall): 202 mm | 7.95 inch
So, another good, reliable Glock. Of all the Glock models and calibers, this Glock G22 gen 5 was very familiar to me from the start, because my very first Glock was chambered in 40 S&W and my current main Glock is a Glock 17 gen 5, which is an identical size, only in 9mm.
Now some differences between Glock 22 gen 4 and gen 5 are the grip, upgraded guide rod and a few other little details like the magazine. While changes might seem insignificant to some, I think Glock gen 5 is definitely an upgrade to Glock gen 4.
Overall though, you get from this Glock pistol exactly what you expect from a Glock. I think this Glock handgun is a great option for self and home defense, considering the mag capacity.
