Ruger LCP Review (One of the BEST Concealed Carry Guns, Ruger LCP 380 Review)

Welcome to Firearms of America! Today, I have another Ruger review for you guys and this is Ruger LCP 380 auto.

As usual, let’s start with this Ruger LCP specs:
Barrel length (in.): 2.75
Rifle Ammo Type: Centerfire
Manual Safety: No
Caliber: .380
Product weight: 9.4 oz.
Product length (in.): 5.16
Magazine capacity: 6+1

So, why do people think this Ruger LCP is the best pocket carry gun? Well, it is slim, it is tiny, it is lightweight, it is pretty much as small as small handguns can be, also sometimes referred to as purse gun. But is this the best 380 pocket pistol? To me, it is definitely in the top 5!

Of course, because of the short 2.7 inch barrel and a very light weight, you definitely do feel the recoil and it is something to get adjusted to. If you are planning to get this pistol, make sure to take on the range regularly and practice with it. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that this Ruger LCP does not have the thumb safety.

So, what do you guys think about this mini pocket gun Ruger LCP review? Would you consider it for your CCW needs? Let me know in the comments below! Thanks for watching!

  1. I am retired from 30 years of law enforcement and carry a 1911 colt 45 religiously and a rugger 380 lcp. as purchased it had an extremely hard trigger pull but after replacing springs and filing it turned into a sweet shooting little gun.
