Kimber Pro Carry 2 Review (Kimber 1911 Pro Carry 2)

Welcome to Firearms of America! Today I have this Kimber 1911 45 ACP review for you guys and this is Kimber Pro Carry II review.

As usual, let’s start with the specs:
Height (inches) 90Β° to barrel: 5.25
Weight (ounces) with empty magazine: 28
Length (inches): 7.7
Magazine capacity: 7
Recoil spring (pounds): 22.0
Full-length guide rod
Material: Aluminum
Finish: Satin silver
Width (inches): 1.28
Material: Steel
Finish: Matte black
Barrel Length (inches): 4
Twist rate (left hand): 16
Fixed low profile sights
Radius (inches): 5.7
Black synthetic, double-diamond checkering grips
Trigger (approximate pounds): 4.0 – 5.0

So, overall, I do like this Pro Carry 2 Kimber. To me personally, the best feature about this gun is how crisp the trigger is. The slide on this pistol is very tight and you can definitely feel the recoil, because the barrel is only 4 inches.

On the plus side, if you want a concealed carry 1911 45 ACP, this is a bit more comfortable option compared to your standard 5 inch barrel.

It is probably worth mentioning that if you like this gun, but wish that the recoil was a bit more manageable, they have the Kimber Pro Carry II 9mm option, however it is in a bit of different color variation. I personally have not tested that one yet though.

So, what do you guys think about this Kimber Pro Carry 2 45 ACP? Let me know in the comments below! If you have any requests, you can drop them in the comments below as well and I will be happy to put them on my to-do list. Thanks for watching!
