American Classic 1911 Amigo Review (Compact 1911 45 ACP for Concealed Carry)

Welcome to Firearms of America! Today I have this American Classic 1911 review.

As always, let’s start with the specs:
Caliber: .45 ACP
Action: SA
Capacity: 7+1
Barrel Length: 3.5″
Front Sight: Dovetail
Rear Sight: Novak-Style
Finishes: Blue, Duotone, Hard Chrome
Grips: Custom Hardwood with Mac Logo
Construction: 4140 Steel Frame / 4140 Hammer Forged Steel Slide
Safety: Beavertail Grip / Extended Thumb Safety
Weight: 32.4500
Length: 7.25″
Height: 5″
Width: 1.25″

So, as a subcompact 1911 45 ACP, with a 3.5 barrel, you do get a bit more recoil than usual. Quite a lot, actually. In fact, so much recoil that it can mess with your feed. So, my biggest recommendation from reviewing this gun would be, if you are planning to buy it for conceal carry, plan to practice with it often to get used to the recoil.

So, what do you guys think about this American Classic Amigo review? I personally do like it, after all it is a 1911 pistol.
