Under Armour Verge 2.0 Review (Under Armour Hiking Boots)
Welcome to Firearms of America! Today I have another pair of Under Armour shoes to review. This time it is Under Armour Verge 2.0. Here is the Amazon link:
Under Armour Mens Verge 2.0 Mid GTX Hiking Shoes – https://amzn.to/2p6VaHO
Now whether it is a hiking shoe or a hiking boot, I will leave for you to decide… might even be Under Armour trail running shoes, who knows, but the design is cool.
Anyway, one important thing to keep in mind is the sizing, it does run a little small, so make sure to go up a 1-1.5 size.
Here are the specs:
Shaft measures approximately ankle-high from arch
Breathable GORE-TEX membrane is 100% waterproof but still allows sweat to escape so you stay dry. Integrated gussets on the tongue help deter water entry
Overall, I am impressed by these UA shoes. If you are looking for lightweight trail running shoes, these are definitely lightweight!
Also, if you need waterproof trail running shoes, which is what I most of the times prefer here in FL, these are GTX, so definitely waterproof.
Waterproof shoes is nothing new though and there are not really much that these shoes/boots offer. Not much protection either.
But, if you do manage to get them in the right size, they are very comfortable! I was also pleasantly surprised by the outsole which has a really good balance between aggression and flatness.
Anyway, let me know what you guys think about this Under Armour trail running shoes review? Is it a shoe? Is it a boot? Would you consider it for your Ultimate Survival? Let me know in the comments below! Thanks for watching!
