SPOT Scope CPR Review (Best Red Dot Sight for AR 15)

Welcome to Firearms of America! Today I have another red dot sight review and this one is SPOT Scope CPR Compact Pro Red Dot Sight. Here are the links:
S.P.O.T. Scope CPR – Compact Pro Red Dot Sight – or

This red dot system is brought to you by MSP, Mounting Solutions Plus, who were kind enough to send me one of these red dot scopes.

So, as a little spoiler alert that you have noticed in the title, I think that this is the best red dot sight for AR 15 or any rifle for that matter, if you want a red dot on it. Here is why.

This scope is a premium scope. It is made out of high quality materials and you can definitely notice that right out of the box. You can also notice that on the range. After about 500 rounds I did not notice any problems with zeroing… Me as a clumsy person, I also managed to bump it here and there a few times… which nicely did not affect the zeroing and did not leave any marks. The red dot is sharp. The glass is clear.

But, you would expect all of the above from a decent premium quality scope wouldn’t you? Yes and that’s why to me, it comes down to all the little details.

Here are the specs:

Objective Diameter: 29mm
Click Value: 1 MOA
W/E adjustment Range: ±60 MOA
Parallax Free: 50 Yards
Eye Relief: Unlimited
Illumination Control: 11 step
Reticle: 2 MOA Dot
Reticle: Color Red
Length: 95mm (3.74”)
Weight: 5.11oz
Water Proof: 3m
Battery Life: Up to 10000 Hours

SPOT Scope red dot sight features a good old dial switch for on and off function, as well as setting the intensity. Also, the flip up covers are removable. The adjustment dials have covers that are sealed for waterproofing. The adjustment dials are audible with clicks when adjusted. But the best part is the compact size and the light weight build.

There are of course a few other things that I loved about this scope. The installation takes only two minutes… if you are clumsy like me… if not, then it should not take more than 1. The mount comes already attached to the sight, which is nice!

And finally, for those people who are not a fan of Chinese products… this scope is made in Korea.

This scope is brand new on the market and I am glad I have it, because I am sure it will be quite popular pretty soon.

Again, thanks to MSP and MWG for making this review possible, here are their links:
