Phoenix Arms HP25A Review (Cheapest Gun for Concealed Carry)

Phoenix Arms HP25A Review (Cheapest Gun for Concealed Carry)

Welcome back! Today we are reviewing this tiny Phoenix Arms pistol, model HP25A. Let’s do our Phoenix Arms HP25A Review! Here are the specifications:
Phoenix Arms HP25A Semi Auto Pistol
.25 ACP
3″ vented rib barrel
9 Rounds
Black Plastic Grips
Alloy Frame
Serrated trigger
Adjustable rear sight
Magazine interlock
Manual slide lock
External safety
Height: 4.1″
Length: 5.5″
Weight: 20 oz

Now as the title says, this is the cheapest purse gun that I have seen (so far!). Only $149 brand new!

While I do appreciate the alloy construction… I am not a big fan of plastic grip… it just does not feel right! I wish it was either wood or a little better quality polymer.

The slide is alright… I have seen much worse at that price range. The trigger is better than I expected.

I do have yo point out that being a 25 ACP pistol gives me a little bit of peace of mind for its reliability… because whenever it comes to 25 acp vs 22lr, 25 acp ammo is just more reliable. Now, can I say that this gun is the best 25 acp pistol? Certainly not, BUT it is a cheap 25 acp pistol… if not the cheapest. By the way, this gun also comes in 22lr, check out the Phoenix Arms HP22A if you are interested!

Good gun!

Weird safety, but built like a tank!
